Company Description
The Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital (THONEH) was established by the efforts of the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) from public donations. It was conceived as an extensive of its Prevention of Blindness program. Under this program, the public was made aware of the importance of preventing blindness through its numerous publicity campaigns, forums, publications and through its Mobile Eye Clinic, which operated mainly in the rural areas.

Our Mission

—To provide comprehensive state -of -the art professional services, diagnostic. Curative preventive and rehabilitative in the nature of eye care to all strata of Malaysian Society.
—To develop Education and Research Programs in the context of our search for Excellence and Continuing Medical Education.
—To establish Professional linkages with reputable centers Internationally for mutual exchange of evolving technologies.
—To ensure the evolvement of the Hospital as a Regional Center of Excellence.
